This is a red and white coaster made with Worsted Weight Yarn and has unique stitches. I figured out the stitches on my own but think that maybe this stitch already exists. This uses the Static Stitch which sort of looks sort of like teeth.

This lovely little doily would be great combined with others like it perhaps seven put together to form a table mat. Or it can work all by itself as a coaster if backed with a piece of felt. You could also stiffen it attach a hanger as use it as a snowflake ornament.

The name for this motif comes from the fact that the way the stitces are worked on the sides looks like brick work. This is a fairly easy motif to make and can be easily worked into a table runner

This coaster uses a technique I really like to do a lot. And you will find it in other patterns I have designed. I work some of the stitches behind a chain loop. You could make an unlimited number of color combinations and make a whole bunch of these to give as a gift in a gift basket. They are fast to make and you could make several in an evening.

This coaster was designed with a wedding reception in mind. A whole bunch of these could be made for the Bridal Party's table. Or you can use it any time of the year for special occasions. You could also crochet a bunch of them together for various projects such as placemats, bedspreads, doilies and more!

This coaster is made with the special stitch the Double Single Crochet. I made it with acrylic yarn but I do recommend using cotton worsted weight yarn for this pattern. It works up quickly and several could be made in an evening.
