This granny square is fun and easy to make. The popcorns represent pumpkins and are made with 6 treble crochets in one stitch instead of the traditional 4 or 5 dc.

These squares all have the same base square with different appliques on them. That way you can make the square itself any time of the year using what ever colors you like.

Variation of Julie's Lady Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This square is a variation of the square designed for the Ladies of the Square Circle. I was about half way through making the squares when I decided I wanted a change but not a drastic one. So I changed the way the colors were put together and changed some of the rows and this square is the result.

Stratton Square

This is the first square in a series of motifs named after towns in Maine. It is also the first square I designed for the site. It is also named for the town where I live in Maine!

Chain Link Sampler Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This is the first pattern I designed to be specifically a sampler square.
It has come to my attention that this pattern stitch already exists on another web site. smilePriscilla Hewitt, has come up with this technique first. I had no idea she had come up with this pattern stitch first. Really! She made a sampler square as well.

Center Cross Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This square is perfect to use as an afghan square. You would get a very dramatic look if you used one color for all squares in the afghan. Or you could use it in a smaller project such as a placemat or pillow.
