Farmington Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This pattern is another one named for a town in Maine. The way it is made is each row is fastened off to change colors. If you made this in one color, it would not have the same effect. You really should make this in more than one color.

Newport Square

Harvest Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This square is fast and easy to make and uses the colors you would find during harvest but you could use any colors for any season. This Square is also called the November Square in the Granny Square book available for the Kindle Fire.

New Portland Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This square is 7" x 7" but could easily be made to be a 6" square by leaving off round 5. This is another one in the State of Maine town squares.

Eliot Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This square is another one named for a town in Maine. The colors represent different aspects of the town. Yellow for wheat, grey for fish, brown for the Captain's Wheel, blue for the ocean, off white for the fisherman and red for the red bricks on their old original town hall.

Basic Rectangle Granny

This basic rectangle granny is a direct result from a request from a site visitor. It is a variation on the basic granny square that is on this site.

Wild Granny Square

Designed By Julie A. Bolduc

I have designed this square with two different last rounds so that you can have a choice as to the look you want to achieve. The purple & yellow square uses the RND 6A instructions and the Plain Cream colored square uses the RND 6B instructions. This would be great for use in potholders.

Kingfield Square

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

Imagine a bunch of these squares put together to make an afghan. It would make a lacy afghan. Or if you use size 10 crochet cotton, you could make a very attractive placemat with several of these.
