Vst Hook Holder

This pattern is fast and easy to make and uses one of those plastic containers that have candy covered chocolate candies in it. I do have a few left available on this site.

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in lime green DMC Traditions was used in the example
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Empty Chocolate Candy container. 6" long 1" diam
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 8sc=1"
Finished Size: 6"x1"
Skill Level: Beginner

RND 1: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch5. Dc in ring, ch2 8 times. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5. (9 dc around)

RND 2: Ch5. Dc in same st as slst. Dc, ch2, dc in each dc around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 3-23: Slst into the first ch 2 sp. Ch5, dc in same sp. Dc, ch2, dc in each ch2 sp around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 24: Ch1. (Slst in next dc. Slst into each of the next 2 chs.) *Slst into the next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Slip over container.
