Shell Stitch Sachet

This sachet is a fast and easy project that would make a great last minute Christmas gift or stocking stuffer. It can also be used as a soap holder by using a ribbon woven in the first round instead of crocheting it closed at the end.
Materials Needed
Small amount Speed-Cro-Sheen ecru
Size 00 steel crochet hook
Potpourrie
Yarn needle
Yarn Thickness 2mm
Gauge: 2 shells & 3dc=2"
Finished Size: 3"x5"
Skill Level: Beginner
Special Stitch Used
(sh) Shell: Work 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next stitch indicated.
Instructions
RND 1: Ch36, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch3. Sk 2 chs, sh in next ch. *Sk 2 chs, dc in next ch. Sk 2 chs, sh in next ch. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 2-7: Ch3. Sh in next sh. *Dc in next dc. Sh in next sh. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 8: Ch3. Sc in next sh. Ch2. *Sc in next dc. Ch2. Sc in next sh Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch3.
Closing first end.
Ch3. Flatten the tube so that the ch3 is on your right. Join the front to the back by working your stitches in each of the chain 2 spaces across on the front and back. Work a shell ineach ch2 space across. Then dc in sc at the end. Fasten off.
Join thread on right side of the opening and close as you did for the other side. Or you can weave a ribbon through the ch2 spaces around to make a draw string.
