This crocheted hexagon motif is the 2nd in a series named for the months of the year. Kinda looks like snow. It is fast and really easy to make.
Every day, from now on, I will post either a members only pattern or a free pattern. It will say whether it is free or not. Once a week, I will offer 1 paid members pattern per week. It will be on Sunday Each Week. This is so I can feature current holiday related patterns, whether they are free or not.

My Plans for 2020I have plans for 2020! One reason I merged the JPF Crochet Club and Paper Bead Crafts and Changed the name to Just Plain Fun is because I eventually want this site to have more creative crafts added to the site such as Quilting, Sewing, Plastic Canvas and Jewelry Making. I also plan to keep adding new crochet patterns, bead sheets, paper bead projects and videos to go with most of the new projects I add to the site. I also am working on a book with games that I have had bouncing around in my head for several years. It's time get them out of my head and into a book! More on that later! Basically, I want one web site for all of the creative endeavors I have been wanting to work on. It's easier to manage one site than more than one.
I am going to be working on these plans on my days off from my Census Job. Don't worry, the Census job is temporary, about 16 weeks total once I get going. It should be done sometime in October.
Fix Kid's Clothes
If your kid's clothes have holes, one way to be able to wear them still is to applique cute cutout shape onto the hole and put a liner on the back side of the fabric. You can get the shapes by using cookie cutters as a template. Then just use the satin stitch on your sewing machine to applique the patch on. If the hole is in a place where the machine cannot reach, you can use a fusible web product to fuse the patch onto the fabric then use a hand satin stitch to cover the edges. Or you can use a fabric paint to cover the edges.
Safe Large Paint Brushes
If a painting job is not finished and you want to keep the brushes from drying, out store the wet cleaned brushes, in a bucket of water which is tightly covered if working with latex or acrylic paint. Do not do this when painting with oil based paints.
