The item for Today is below.
Item: You are hunting for "a Faux Tiger Print Fabric".
Clue: You will find it in the Jewelry patterns!
I am now using images that are in either of the 2 Paper Bead Generators, for the daily Scavenger Hunt Items.
The daily scavenger hunt item can only be found for one day.
The instant prize is access to a Gold Members Only crochet pattern that is free for today only. The pdf file is not part of the prize.
The Points Program Has Started!
A special code has been placed under this image, on the page that will have the scavenger hunt item on it. Sign up for a Free Points Account and you can claim 1000 points for finding today's item! you can also get free access to the page that it is on!
This pattern is always Free.
This towel is topped with a hanger that is made then sewn on to a gathered unfinished edge of a towel which has been cut in half. You could make a whole bunch of the tops first then sew them to the cut edges of hand towels after you are done crocheting the tops. This would make a great bazaar item since they do not take that long to make.
Every day, from now on, I will post a pattern that is always free. Since all of the Gold members patterns will be available for points, eventually, and I am giving away one free pattern per day with the Scavenger Hunt, I figured this would be fair to the Gold Members and everyone else.

Points Program News
Points accounts are Back!
I am still ironing out the little wrinkles in the system but it is up and running! Sign up now and join in the fun! Earn points for use in downloading Gold Members only files! I am slowly adding download buttons you can use to redeem points for patterns and templates. The buttons will be placed on a download page like it was on the old version of the site last year. It will take awhile to add all of them.
I have come up with something that Gold members can redeem their points for. The way I expect to be able to set it up is I will make a page just for Gold members that will have listings on it that you can redeem points for. The items will be things I already sell at Amazon and Etsy but they will be available through the points system. Only for Gold members. There may be shipping charges, there may be not. I will be getting that part of the Points Program set up within the next couple of months. So meanwhile, keep adding points to your points account so you can take advantage of the discounts and perhaps freebies when redeeming points!
Mark Your Crochet Rounds or Rows: Insert a contrasting piece of yarn in the place you need to mark. When you don't need it, you can can just pull it out. I have done this for years and it works well.
Stash Buster Idea: If you have a big stash of craft supplies that you know you will not use but are still in great shape. Why not box them up and bring them to the local library, elementary school, local charity groups or children's group to use in their crafts.
