The item for Today is below.
Item: You are hunting for "a Cute Yellow Duck".
Clue: You will find it in the Bag or Purse patterns!
I am now using images that are in either of the 2 Paper Bead Generators, for the daily Scavenger Hunt Items.
The daily scavenger hunt item can only be found for one day.
The instant prize is access to a Gold Members Only crochet pattern that is free for today only. The pdf file is not part of the prize.
The Points Program Has Started!
A special code has been placed under this image, on the page that will have the scavenger hunt item on it. Sign up for a Free Points Account and you can claim 1000 points for finding today's item! you can also get free access to the page that it is on!
This pattern is always Free.
This choker is made with crochet cotton but for a more lustrous look could be made with rayon thread. The crocheted part is worked first then the beads are sewn on.
Every day, from now on, I will post a pattern that is always free. Since all of the Gold members patterns will be available for points, eventually, and I am giving away one free pattern per day with the Scavenger Hunt, I figured this would be fair to the Gold Members and everyone else.

Points Program News
Points accounts are Back!
I am still ironing out the little wrinkles in the system but it is up and running! Sign up now and join in the fun! Earn points for use in downloading Gold Members only files! I am slowly adding download buttons you can use to redeem points for patterns and templates. The buttons will be placed on a download page like it was on the old version of the site last year. It will take awhile to add all of them.
I have come up with something that Gold members can redeem their points for. The way I expect to be able to set it up is I will make a page just for Gold members that will have listings on it that you can redeem points for. The items will be things I already sell at Amazon and Etsy but they will be available through the points system. Only for Gold members. There may be shipping charges, there may be not. I will be getting that part of the Points Program set up within the next couple of months. So meanwhile, keep adding points to your points account so you can take advantage of the discounts and perhaps freebies when redeeming points!
Remembering Sewing Machine Settings When working on a sewing project, and you need to remember what settings you had on your sewing machine between sessions, if your project is not done that is, write them down on a small sticky note and stick it to the front of your sewing machine so you will be reminded to set your sewing machine right after you turn it back on. I have to do this with my Brother SQ9285 since it resets itself after I turn it off.
Glue Basting Fabric You can use Elmer's Glue Stick, the kind that starts out as purple and drys when clear, to baste fabric layers together when working on small projects. Even when heat setting, when you dry it with an iron, it will wash out completely when washed in the washing machine.
