Today's Scavenger Hunt Item
The item for Today is below.
Item: You are hunting for "some Puzzle Pieces".
Clue: You will find it in the Sachet or Pincushion patterns!

Featured Pattern

This pattern is always a free pattern.

This crocheted candy dish is made from a recycled whipped topping container. It is fast and easy to make and would look great in any combination of colors. You can use your scraps for this project!

Popcorn Candy Dish

Every day, from now on, I will post either a members only pattern or a free pattern. It will say whether it is free or not. Once a week, I will offer 1 paid members pattern per week. It will be on Sunday Each Week. This is so I can feature current holiday related patterns, whether they are free or not.

Desk Top Caddy is Back!

I have added a new section to the site! Other Projects! So far there is only two projects in there. The projects that will be in this section will be unrelated to crochet and paper bead making. I plan to add more random projects as time goes by. Most of them, in the future will be for paid members but the projects that existed before on Paper Bead Crafts and the JPF Crochet Club, that were not related, will be free if they were free to begin with.

Points Program Update

Points accounts will be coming back. Not sure when, when I get it all set up, I will let you know.

1. There will be 4 levels. Registered, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
2. Levels will be based on how many points you have accumulated.
3. The higher the level, the more access you get.
4. Gold level members get access to all member areas on the site
5. Everyone who is a member now, will be at the Gold level at the start.
6. Redeeming points may not be included, at first, just earning points for level access.
It may take weeks to figure it all out.
7. I am working on a way to set certain files, projects and patterns to the different levels of membership so over time, you will see patterns and other pages change levels of access.
8. When launched, members who are registered can get  points, for finding the Scavenger Hunt Item, and people who are not members, will get to the page that item is on for free. That page will be made public. It may even be a cutting template!

I will post details later and as I figure out how it's all going to work. It will be way different from the old system. It will not work the same. Everyone will start at the lowest level except those who have ever paid for lifetime membership or pays for membership in the future.  Future members who pay the 12 monthly payments plan, will lose their Gold status if they cancel their monthly payments before the monthly payments end on their own after 12 payments. I am still working on this and making progress.

Tuesday's Tips

Yo Yo Templates Made Easy.:If you make a lot of yoyos a good template for making them of different sizes is to use various sized plastic lids. Put an address label on a lid and mark on it how big the lid is in inches and Centimeters then put it in your craft box. Then when you need a certain size circle for any reason, just pull out the correct size lid to mark your fabric

Pencil Cups
Any plastic container which is tall and skinny can be made into a handy pencil cup by crocheting a circle to fit the bottom of the container then continuing in a pattern stitch up the length of the container keeping it the diameter of the circle size on the bottom. This is how I made the pencil cup with the round Crystal Light container.
