Tuesday's Tips

  • Store thin rubber stamps in empty CD cases.
  • Quilters, you can glue seams, that must not shift, with washable school glue! Just apply it in the seam allowance and press it with an iron to set it. It will wash out the first time you wash your finished quilt.
  • When trying to figure out the size of a hole in a bead, use a set of plain drill bits as hole gauges.
  • To figure out the outside diameter of a bead, use a drill bit gauge with holes!
  • Use a clean empty gallon size plastic wide mouth jar to keep your yarn or thread in while you crochet and keep it next to you while you crochet or knit to keep it from getting away from you.
