Emmas Baby Afghan

This afghan was designed for little Emma. My cousins first baby born on July 4 1998. I knew a little girl was on the way but she decided to arrive about 3 weeks early. She weighs 5lbs 14oz and is in very good health! I have named this pattern in her honor.

Random Quick Tip!

Ornament Here is an ornament idea.
Cut a circle or oval shape from a lid. Punch holes evenly around the perimeter with a 1/4" or 1/8" paper punch. Then, with yarn and a needle, work a star on the front and back of the plastic doing a criss cross method of lacing. Then when you like the look. Work a row of sc around the perimeter then a row of picots around that. This would be a good beginner project.
