Shell Stitch Drawstring Bag
Designed by Julie A. Bolduc
Pattern ID: p125005
Date Added: August 10, 2000
This lustrous bag is great for any semi formal occasion. If you made one in white, it can be used as a wedding reception bag for the bride. And this is quick enough to make a one, for each brides maid, in the color that would match their gowns. It is made in 3 sections. The main part of the bag is made first, then the bottom is made and stitched on, then the casing and top are made last on the first round that is made.

Random Quick Tip!
Paper Templates in QuiltingTo make it easier to use small paper templates in making quilt blocks, put double stick tape on the back side of the template and stick it onto the fabric and use your ruler and rotary cutter to cut your quilt block piece following the lines of the template.
