Shells Coaster
Designed by Julie A. Bolduc
Pattern ID: p108023
Date Added: August 14, 2001
This coaster is made with a basic circle in the center and is surrounded by chain loops and shells. It can also be used as a motif in a doily as well. Imagine a bunch of these made in different colors, then stiffened. The coasters would make a great gift stuffed into a gift basket full of other goodies. This is a good pattern to use up your scraps.

Random Quick Tip!
Pencil CupsAny plastic containers which is tall and skinny can be made into a handy pencil cup by crocheting a circle to fit the bottom of the container then continuing in a pattern stitch up the length of the container keeping it the diameter of the circle size on the bottom. This is how I made the pencil cup with the round Crystal Light container.
