Long Bobble Doily

This doily is made the special stitch. The Long Bobble. In the middle these stitches form a star or flower and looks really pretty.

Materials Needed:
Southmaid Size 10 Crochet cotton. Pink
Size 7 Steel Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10 sc per inch
Finished Size: =9" diameter
Skill Level: Intermediate

Special Stitch Instructions:
(Beg lbl)Ch2, Yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo draw up a loop, yo draw thread through 2 lps on hook, rep from beg until you have 3 lps on hook. Then *yo, draw thread through 2 lps on hook. Rep from * until all 3 lps are worked or you have one lp left on hook.

(lbl)Yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo draw up a loop, yo draw thread through 2 lps on hook, rep from beg until you have 4 lps on hook. Then *yo, draw thread through 2 lps on hook. Rep from * until all 4 lps are worked or you have one lp left on hook.

Instructions
RND 1: Ch5, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Beglbl, *Ch3, 3dclbl. Rep from * 6 times more. Join w/slst to top of beg3dclbl.

RND 2: Ch12, slst in 6th ch from hook, ch3, dc in next lbl. *Ch9, slst in 6th ch from hook, (ch6 lp made), ch3, dc in next lbl. Rep from * 5 times more. Ch9, slst in 6th ch from hook, ch3. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch12.

RND 3: Ch3. *Work the fol in the next ch6 lp. (lbl, ch3 4 times, lbl). Dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Slst in the first lbl and in the next 3 chs then into the next lbl. Ch5, dc in same lbl. Ch2, work the foll in the next lbl. (dc, ch5, dc). Ch2, (dc, ch2, dc) in the next lbl. Ch1. *Work the foll in the 2nd lbl of the next set of 5. Dc, ch2, dc, (vst made). Ch2, work the foll in the next lbl. (dc, ch5, dc). Ch2, vst in the next lbl. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 5: Slst into the first vst. Ch6, dc in same st. Ch2. Work the foll in the next ch5 sp. (dc, ch3, dc, ch5, dc, ch3, dc). Ch2. Dc, ch3, dc in next vst. *Dc, ch3, dc in next vst.
