Small Elegance Doily Designed By Julie A. Bolduc

This doily is designed with the bride in mind. It would make a great package topper for a wedding gift. She could then use it in her decor in her home.

Materials Needed
Small amount white crochet cotton size 10. Southmaid was used in the example.
Size 8 steel crochet hook Boye was used in the example.
Tapestry needle

Thread Size: 10thread
Gauge: 10 sc=1"
Finished Size: 7" diameter
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Ch12, join w/sls to first ch to form ring. Ch1. Work 16 sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 2: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Ch4. Sk next sc. *2dc in next sc. Ch4. Sk next sc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch3, dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc, ch4, dc in next ch4 sp. Ch2. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Dc, ch4, dc in next ch4 sp. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Slst in the next dc and in each of the next 5 sts. Sc in ch4 lp. Ch9. *Sc in next ch4 lp. Ch9. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 5: Ch1. Sc in each of the next 4 chs. *Ch4. Sk next ch. Sc in each of the next 9 sts. Rep from * 7 times more. Ch4. Sk next ch. Sc in each of last4 sts. Join w/sls to ch1.
