This doily looks like it has a small spider web in the center of it and I could not think of a name for this one so I asked my kids for a name idea. This is what my step son Kevin came up with! Perfect!

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in white. Southmaid was used in the example
Size 7 steel crochet hook
tapestry needle
Niagra spray starch or Magic Sizing to block it.

Thread Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 9" diameter
Skill Level: Intermediate

Instructions
RND 1: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch5. *Dc in ring. Ch2. Rep from * 6 times more. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5. You should now have 8 ch2 spaces around.

RND 2: Slst into the first ch 2sp. Ch3, dc in same sp. Ch3. *2dc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join wslst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch6. *Dc in next dc. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch6.

RND 4: Slst into the first ch3 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc in same sp. Ch2. *Sk next ch3 sp. 3dc, ch3, 3dc in next ch3 sp. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 5: Slst in each of the next 2 dc. Slst in next ch. Sc in ch3 sp. Ch9. *Sk next ch2 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch9. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 6: Ch5. Dc in same st as slst. Ch4. Dc, ch2, dc in 5th ch of the ch9 sp. Ch4. *Dc, ch2, dc in next ch3 sp. Ch4. Dc, ch2, dc in 5th ch of the next ch9 sp. Ch4. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 7: Slst into the first ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc in same sp. Ch5. *3dc, ch3, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Ch5. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 8: Slst in each of the next 2 dc. Slst into the next ch3 sp. Sc in same sp. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. *Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 9: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Ch3. *2dc in next sc. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 10: Ch6. Dc in next dc. Ch2. *Dc in next dc. Ch3. Dc in next dc. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch6.

RND 11: Slst into the first ch3 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc in same sp. 3dc, ch3, 3dc in each ch3 sp around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 12: Slst in each of the next 2 dc. Slst into the next ch3 sp. Sc in same sp. Ch7. *Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch7. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 13: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Ch2. 2Dc in 4th ch of the ch7 sp. Ch2. *2Dc, in next sc. Ch2. 2Dc, in 4th ch of the next ch7 sp. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 14: Ch5. Dc in next dc. Ch1. *Dc in next dc, Ch3. Dc in next dc. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 15: Slst into each of the next 2 dc. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc in same sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. *3dc, ch3, 3dc in next ch3 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Stiffen as needed with spray starch or magic sizing.
