Second Pineapple:
Turn the doily so the right side is facing you. To figure out which side is the right side. Lay the doily down in front of you so that the point you just made is pointing away from you. Now look at the very beginning of row 6. The ch4 at the beginning of this row should be on your right hand side. If it is not, flip the doily over so it is.

Now to start the next pineapple, *join the thread to the sc just to the right of the next unworked dc of row 5. Working to the left of the previous pineapple. Repeat RND 6/row1 through row9 of first pineapple. To finish the rest of the pineapples, repeat from * around.

RND 7: Yes I am calling this round 7. This round joins all pineapples together. Lay the doily down right side facing you, and so any one of the points is facing away from you. Join thread to top left dc of the point. Treat this as a ch3 sp and treat each end dc around the perimeter of each pinapple as a ch3 sp. Ch1, sc, ch1, 2sc in same sp. [(Ch1. 2sc in next ch3 sp down left side of pineapple. 6 times) Ch5. To join to next pineapple, work 2 sc in RND 6:/row3 of next pineapple. (Ch1. 2sc in next ch3 sp up right side of pineapple. 6 times.) Ch1. 2sc in same sp as last 2 sc. Ch5.] *2sc, ch1, 2sc in next ch3 sp. Rep bet [] once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. If you got through that, Congratulations! That was the hard part.

RND 8: Slst into the next ch1 sp. Sc in same sp. (Ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook. Picot made will be referred to as pic.) (Sc in next ch1 sp. Pic. 6 times.) Sc in each of the next 5 chs. (Pic. Sc in next ch1 sp. 7 times.) 3dc, ch4, 3dc in next ch5 sp. *(Sc in next ch1 sp. pic. 7 times.) Sc in each of the next 5 chs. (Pic. Sc in next ch1 sp. 7 times.) 3dc, ch4, 3dc in next ch5 sp.
