Spiral Web Doily

Spiral Web Doily

This doily was named by my daughter Joanna. She really liked the spiral effect in the center of the doily. It is a fairly quick doily to make but you really need to pay close attention to the subtle changes in the instructions from one row to the next. I had to frog this one about 4 times from around round 18 or so in order to make it lay flat.

Please note: I am now selling all of my paper bead making tools and other items from this web site using Paypal payments.

I have removed all of my paper bead making tools from Amazon. My Kindle crochet pattern books and paper template paperback books continue to be available on Amazon, as they are printed and fulfilled directly by Amazon. If you would like to shop my Etsy Store, follow the link in the header above.

Random Quick Tip!

Non Stick Toothpicks
If you like to brush your glaze on your paper beads but your beads get stuck to your toothpick or what ever you are using to hold your beads while brushing on the glaze, try applying chapstick or vaseline jelly on your picks before sticking your bead on the end. When your beads are dry, your beads will slide right off. I do this when I coat my paper beads with 2 part epoxy resin. Really works well!
