Abigail Witch Air Freshener Doll

This air freshener doll is dressed in a black witch costume. The costume consists of 3 pieces, a hat, dress and cape. I made the costume removable so the doll can where other costumes through the year.

Materials Needed
2oz Worsted weight acrylic yarn in Black. Red Heart Super Savor was used in the example
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
1 Renuzit Air Freshener
1 Air Freshener Doll with black hair
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
2 black snaps 3/8" in diameter
Black sewing thread and needle

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"

Special Stitch: Picot: Ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook.

Instructions
Hat
RND 1: Ch3, 4dc in 3rd ch from hook. Join w/slst to top of ch3. (5sts)

RND 2: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each st around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 3: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Dc in next st, 2dc in next st, twice. Dc in base of ch3. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each of the next 8 sts. Join w/slst to first sc. (9sc)

RND 5: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, 4 times. Join w/slst to top of ch3. (13dc)

RND 6: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each sc around. Join w/slst to first sc. (13sc)

RND 7: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Dc in next sc. 2dc in next st, 7 times. Join w/slst to top of ch3. (21sts)

RND 8: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each st around. Join w/slst to first sc. (21 sc)

RND 9: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Dc in next st. 2dc in next st, dc in next st 11 times. (32 dc)

RND 10: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each st around. Join w/slst to first sc. (32sc)

RND 11: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Dc in next st. *2dc in next st, dc in next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 12: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into inside of work.

ROW 1: Ch22. Sc in 2nd ch from hook & in each ch across. Ch1, turn. (21sc)
ROW 2 & 3: Sc in each sc across. ch1, turn.

ROW right 5-7: Sc in each of the 5 sc across. Ch1, turn. At the end of row 5, fasten off leaving an end about 8" long.

ROW left 5-7: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn. At the end of row 5, fasten off leaving an end about 8" long.

Center front to neck Back on row 3 with both shoulders facing up away from you, skip 2 sc from right shoulder and join yarn in next sc.

ROW center 4: Ch1. Sc in same st as joining. Sc in each of the next 7 sts. Ch1, turn

ROW center 5 & 6: Sc in each sc across. Ch, turn.

ROW 7: Upper right front shoulder: Sc in each of the first 3 sc. Ch1, turn

ROW 8 & 9: Sc in each of the 3 sc across. Ch1, turn. At the end of ROW 9. Fasten off and weave end into work.

Upper Left Shoulder Front Sk 2 stitches from upper right shoulder front. Join yarn in next sc.

ROW 7: Sc in same st as joining. Sc in each of the last 2 sts. Ch1, turn

ROW 8 & 9: Sc in each of the 3 sc across. Ch1, turn. At the end of Row 9, fasten off and weave end into work.

With 8" ends, whip stitch the shoulders together matching up the upper front left to the upper front back and repeat with the other shoulder.

Skirt Starting at bottom of bodice.
RND 1: Sk the first sc in bodice. Join yarn in next sc. Ch3, dc in same st. *Ch2. 2dc in next sc. Rep from * across. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Now you will work in the rounds.

RND 2: Slst in next dc and in next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc in same sp. Ch2. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch2. *3dc in next ch2 sp. Ch2. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst top of ch3.

RND 3: Slst into next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same st. Ch1. Dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Sk next dc. *3dc in next dc. Ch1. Dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Slst in next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same st. Ch1. sk next dc. Dc in next dc, ch1, twice. Sk next dc. *3dc in next dc. ch1. Sk next dc. Dc in next dc, ch1, twice. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 5-7: Repeat RND 4.

RND 8: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. (Sc in next ch1 sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch1 sp. Sc in next ch1 sp. Sk next dc.) *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

Cape:
ROW 1: Ch12. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn

ROW 2: Dc in first sc. *Ch2. 2dc in next dc. Rep from * across. Ch3, turn

ROW 3: Dc in next dc. Ch2. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch2. Rep from * 8 more times. Dc in next dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn

ROW 4: Dc in next dc. Ch3. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch3. Rep from * 8 more times. Dc in next dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn

ROW 5: Dc in next dc. Ch4. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch4. Rep from * 8 more times. Dc in next dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn
