Pineapple Filet Sachet

This sachet is made in such a way that if you made it with worsted weight yarn and made a liner for it, it could be a very pretty purse.

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in shaded pinks
Size 7 steel crochet hook
½" wide satin ribbon 12" long Pink
Polyester Fiber fill
Perfume of choice
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 3½"x3½"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
ROW : Start in rows then work in rounds. Ch17. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.

ROW 2: Sk very first sc. Dc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in each dc across. Sc in top of ch3. Do not turn. Now you will work in rounds.

RND 1: Ch8. Dc in same st as last sc. ch2. Dc, ch5, dc in bottom of very first sc of row 1. Ch2. Sk 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch2, 4 times. Dc, ch5, dc in last sc. Ch2. Dc, ch5, dc in top of next sc of row 3. Ch2. Sk 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch2, 4 times. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch8.

Finishing.
Weave ribbon through round 16 so that the ends come out at either side of the ch2 sp at the top center of one of the pineapples. Stuff with scented polyester fiberfill or your favorite potpourrie. Gather up and tie ribbon into a bow.

Random Quick Tip!

No Slip Quilting Rulers!
If you need to make a quilting ruler, or a machine quilting ruler non slip, and you don't have any of those commercial stick on things to do so, you can use E6000 glue on the back side of your ruler. Just put a straight bead down one edge and use a squeegee device such as a scraper or plastic old credit card to spread it on the ruler as smoothly, thinly and evenly as you can. Allow to dry overnight before using. I did this to one of mine and it works better than other products I used in the past. It dries clear so you can still see through your ruler! I am using it on a machine quilting ruler I have. I can move my fabric through the machine with the ruler! Make sure to follow safety precautions when using.
