Mardi Gras Scrunchie

This festive little scrunchie is full of fun and could add just abit of sparkle to your fun casual holiday season outfits. Also if you have girls in your family, they would make great stocking stuffers or just little gifts for what ever you are celebrating.
Materials Needed
Small amount woolese worsted weight yarn in black with a silver strand in it.
16 - 12mm faceted round clear beads. Assorted colors
Large Hair elastic
Yarn Needle thin enough to go through the beads
Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 4"diam
Skill Level: Beginner
RND 1: String on 16 beads in any order. Tie yarn onto elastic. Treat the elastic like a ring. Ch3. Dc in ring. Bring up a bead, ch1. 2dc in ring. Ch1. *2dc, bead, ch1, 2dc in ring. Ch1. Rep from * 6 more times. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
Make sure the beads are on the back side of your work.
RND 2: Ch1. Sc in next dc. Ch1. Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Bring up a bead. *Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch1. Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Bring up a bead. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
