- 2 jump rings 4mm diameter to match wire
- Pair of Needle Nose and flat nose pliers
- Wire Cutters
Finished Size: 2" long by 5/8" wide
Skill Level: Intermediate
Instructions
Step 1: Cut your wire to two 4" pieces. Bend each one in half into a Long U Shape about 3/8" wide at the widest part.
Step 2: Work with one Earring at a time. Put 5 of the size 6/0 beads on first in alternating color so the colorful one is in the center.
Step 3: Place the double hole bead on the bent wire making sure that each end goes through each hole. Spread the wires apart a little bit to hold the bead in place for the next step.
Step 4: Working one side at a time, place 3 size 6/0 beads on each wire in alternating color. With your needle nose pliers, make a simple loop at the very end of the wire bending the wire about 1/4" from the end. Repeat with the other wire. Squeeze the two loops together so they are side by side.
Step 5: Attach large jump ring through both simple loops at the same time, close the jump ring.
Step 6: Add the smaller jump ring to the large jump ring.
Step 7: Add the earring finding to the smaller jump ring. Done!
Note: This pattern assumes you already know how to make double hole paper beads. If you don't there are a couple of videos you can watch to learn how to make them. This project is about how to make the earrings with the beads. Not how to make the beads.
