Mini Tree Top Angel & Ornament

This little angel is easy and quick to make and would look really cute on top of a 2- tree. It stands only 3½" high and made out of size 10 thread, it stands only 1½" high. If you have a 2- table top christmas tree, this may be just the Angel you need for the top of it.

Materials Needed
For Tree Top Angel
Worsted weight acrylic yarn. White for tree top angel
Size G/6 4¼mm aluminum crochet hook for tree top angel
1 bone ring 1" diam for tree top angel

For Ornament
Size 10 Crochet cotton in white glitter thread for ornament
Size 7 steel crochet hook for ornament
1 bone ring ½" diam for ornament
White sewing thread or ornament hanger for hanger

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge yarn: 4sc = 1" thread: 10sc=1"
Finished Size: Big Angel: 3½"h Little Angel: 1½"h
Skill Level: Intermediate

Vst: Dc, ch1, dc in sp indicated.

Instructions
Make both the same just one with thread and the other with yarn.
RND 1: Starting at head. Ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 2: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst. 2sc in each sc around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 3 & 4: Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 5: Ch1. Insert hook in next st, pull up a lp, insert hook in next st, pull up a lp, yo pull through all 3 lps on hook. dec made. Sc in next st. Dec 1. Sc in next st. Dec 1. Sc in next st. Dec 1. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 6: Ch1. Sc in next st. Dec 1. Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Dec 1. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 7: Ch4, dc in same st as slst. Dc, ch1, dc in each st around. (6 ch1 sps)

RND 8-10: Slst into the first ch1 sp. Ch4, dc in same sp. Vst in each ch1 sp around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 11: Slst into the first ch1 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. Sc in space bet vsts. *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next vst. Sc in next sp bet vsts. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off. Weave skirt end into back of work. Leave the head end alone for now.

Wings
Work each side separately on a center ring.
Ch4, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. [Ch4 (counts as dc and ch1: vst), 2dc in ring. Ch1. Dc in ring. Ch1, turn. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in first ch1 sp. Sc in next sp bet vsts. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch1 sp. Slst in 2nd ch of ch3. Fasten off, weave ends into work.] Turn wings over and join yarn to other side of ring. Repeat from bet [] once. Attach wings to back of angel.

Attach bone ring to top of angel-s head for halo using the head end of yarn. Weave end into head then trim end.

Attach hanger to top of ornament.
