Three Pineapples Bookmark

I could not resist designing my own version of a pineapple bookmark. I did see one similar to this one but not sure where. So I decided to design my own.
Materials Needed:
Small amount cream DMC Cebilia Size 20 crochet cotton.
Size 11 steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 20 thread
Gauge: 15 sc =1"
Finished Size: =Size 5¾" long x1½" wide
Skill Level: Intermediate
Instructions
RND 1: Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. This is the only Round. Ch1, work 12 sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc. The rest is worked in rows.
ROW 1: Ch3, dc, ch 2, 2dc in same st as slst. Ch3, sk 2sc, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next sc. Turn. (Do not ch at end of row from now and throughout.)
ROW 2: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. (dc, ch1, 5times, dc in ch3 sp.) 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 3: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. *Ch3, sc in dc. Rep from * 5 times more. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 4: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Sk first ch3 sp, *Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 4 times more. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 5: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Sk first ch3 sp, *Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 3 times more. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 6: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Sk first ch3 sp, *Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 2 times more. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 7: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Sk first ch3 sp, *Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 1 times more. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 8: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Sk first ch3 sp, Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 9: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Ch1. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 10: Slst to the ch2sp. Ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same ch2 sp. Ch3. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 sp. Turn.
ROW 11-19: Rep row 2-10.
ROW 20-27: Rep row 2-9.
ROW 28: Slst all the way to the ch1 sp. ch3, 2dc in same ch1 sp. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Latch Hook Rug Making From ScrapsIf you are into rug making, you could use your ends as rug pieces. Use your latch hook and get some blank canvas and everytime you finish a project with worsted weight yarn, put the pieces right into the rug canvas as you get them. You can trim them to the right length after they are added to your rug. What a fun rug you would have after you are done!
