This bookmark is super quick to make and you could make several in an evening to make as gifts to stuff in stockings!
Materials Needed:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in dark blue.
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in light blue.
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 2" x 13"
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
RND 1: With dark blue. Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4. Dc in ring, ch1, 7 times. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4. Fasten off dark blue.
RND 2: Join light blue in same st as slst. Ch4. Slst in 3rd ch from hook. Tr in starting ring behind ch1 sp. *Sc in next dc. Ch3. Slst in 3rd ch from hook. Tr in starting ring behind ch1 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch4.
Finishing Tail: Ch44. 2dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch3. Slst in 3rd ch from hook. 2dc in same ch as last 2 dc. Ch3. Slst in same ch as last 2 dc. Slst in next ch. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
