Lacet Filet Ladder Bookmark
Designed By Julie A. BolducThis bookmark is fast and easy to make. You could make it longer if you prefer by just repeating the pattern stitch before finishing it off with row 27.
Materials Needed:
Size 10 crochet thread.
Size 7 steel crochet hook.
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 8dc=1"
Finished Size: 7" x 1¼"
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
ROW 1: Ch 19. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 2: Sk very first sc. Dc in each of the next 2sc. Ch5. Sk 5 sc. Dc in each of the next 2 sc. Ch5. Dc in each of the last 3 sc. Ch3, turn.
ROW 3: Sk first dc. Dc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.
ROW 4: Sk first dc. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch6. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch6. Dc in each of the next 2 dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.
ROW 5: Sk first dc. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch2. Sc in next ch6 sp. Ch2. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch2. Sc in next ch6 sp. Ch2. Dc in each of the next 2 dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.
ROW 6: Sk first dc. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch5. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch5. Dc in each of the next 2 dc and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.
ROW 7-26: Repeat Rows 3, 4, 5, 6, consecutively, 5 times. At the end of row 26, ch1, turn.
ROW 27: Sc in each of the first 3 dc. Sc in each of the next 5 chs. Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Sc in each of the next 5 chs. Sc in each of the next 2 dc and in top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Starch lightly if desired.
