Row 2: *Ch3, dc in 3rd ch from hook, Scin center of ch3 of next bump. See picture for detail asto where to place the hook. Rep from * across. Ch2, sc inlast ch which is actually the very first ch you made atthe very beginning of project. Turn.

Row 3: This is the pattern row. *Ch3, dcin 3rd ch from hook, sc in center of ch3 of next bump.Rep from * accross ending with a sc in last bump. Turn.Repeat this row throughout dishcloth.

This produces a delicate looking edge all the way around. You may want to add a row of sc all the way around togive it a finished look. I did in the example. If you do,work (2 sc, ch1, 2 sc) in eachcorner, 2 sc in each row onthe left and right sides and 2 sc in each bump on thebottom and top.

Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Control Your Craft Clutter
If you are like me and most crafters out there, you like to keep cardboard packaging and other packaging materials "just in case". Doing that often gets out of control if you don't save them in a controlled manner. Well what I do is a designate a special container to keep various materials in and when each container is full, I do not save any more of that particular item until my supply is almost gone. For example, empty cereal boxes for the cardboard. I keep my supply in a magazine holder. When it's full, I do not save more, until my supply of that wonderful cardboard is almost gone. My community recycles so I don't feel bad about getting rid of those empty boxes if I know I have a handful available to use whenever I need to.
