Ruffled Suncatcher-Doily
Designed By Julie A. Bolduc
This suncatcher can be a doily by just not attaching it to the ring. It is done completely in filet in the round. Filet in the round is now my favorite method of crocheting in filet! So fun!

Attach hanger to brass ring at one of the points.
If making a doily, starch lightly pulling up on the inside points a little bit to give it a ruffled appearance.

Random Quick Tip!
Pretty Wood CollagesKeep some old magazines for kids to use to cut out pretty pictures and make collages with them gluing them to sanded pre made wood plaques then seal the collage with several coats of clear varnish. You will have a treasure that your kids made for years to come. During the holidays you could also do the same on wooden cut outs for Christmas Ornaments.
