Netted Shells Doily
Designed By Julie A. BolducThis doily is fast and easy to make. I made it in about 4 hours from start to finish including hand writing the instructions as I worked.
Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in white.
Size 7 Steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 7"diam

Instructions
RND 1: Ch12. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch6. *Tr in next ch. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 4th ch of ch6.
RND 2: Ch1. 5dc in next ch2 sp. *Sc in next tr. 5dc in next ch2 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1.
RND 3: Ch8. *Dc in next sc. Ch5. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch8.
RND 4: Ch6. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch5. *Sc in next dc. Ch5. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch5. Rep from * 9 times more. Sc in next dc. Ch2, dc in first ch of ch6.
RND 5: Ch5. Sc in next ch5 sp, ch5, 22 times. Ch2, dc in first ch of ch5.
RND 6: Rep rnd 5.
RND 7: Rep round 6.
RND 8: Ch6. *Dc, ch2, dc in 3rd ch of the next ch5 sp. Ch3. Rep from * 22 times more. Dc in top of dc of previous round. Ch2. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch6.
RND 9: Slst into the next ch. *Sc in ch3 sp. Ch3. Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.
RND 10: Slst in each of the next 3 chs. Slst in next dc. Slst into the next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. Ch1. *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 11: Slst in each of the next 2 dc. Slst into the next ch2 sp. Ch5, dc in same sp. Ch5. * Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Ch5. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.
RND 12: Slst into the next ch2 sp. Ch5,dc in same sp. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. *Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
