Bi-Color Square Doily

This square doily is first made with filet in the round with one color, then lacets are added in white around the first color. It is fun and easy to make and can be made in an evening or 2 depending on your speed.

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in 2 colors. DMC Traditions in pink and white was used in the example
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends.

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 8dc=1"
Finished Size: 7½" x 7½"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: With pink, Ch12. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch8, dc in same st as slst. Ch2. Sk 2 chs. *Dc, ch5, dc in next ch. Ch2. Sk 2 chs. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch8.

RND 2: Ch5. (Dc, ch5, dc in 3rd ch of ch5. Ch2. Dc in next dc. Ch2.) *Dc in next dc, ch2. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 3: Ch5. (Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc, ch5, dc in 3rd ch of ch5. Ch2, dc in next dc, twice. Ch2.) *Dc in next dc. Ch2. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.
