Assembly
Lay the granny square onto the center of the felt square. Tack into place with sewing thread at each corner and in 1 or 2 places on each side of the square. Just go through the back lps only. This will keep the granny square in place while beading. Bring needle up through back lp only on any of the outer stitches. This is where you will start beading. Place 6 beads on the needle and let drop to the square. Now put the needle down through the back lp where the end of the beads are. Bring needle back up at the 3rd bead and pull through the last 3 beads strung on the thread. Add 6 more beads and proceed as before always working through the back lps only. Go all the way around the square in the same way. You may want to tack each bead around to make them more secure. Secure thread to back of work.

Center Beads.
Pull thread up through center of felt and granny square. String on pearl and secure to center. Pull thread back up through center next to bead and string on11 seed beads. Run thread through all of the seed beads twice. Tack the beads to the granny square around the center pearl at every other bead. Secure thread to back of work.

Trim excess felt being careful not to cut through any threads. Glue piece of sheet magnet to back.
