April Square

This square is another one for the calendar! It is very fast and easy to make and is a great way to use up some scraps.
Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in 2 colors
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 6" x 6"
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
RND 1: With color 1: Ch4. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4.
19 tr in ring. Join w/slst to top of ch4.
RND 2: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst. Sc in each of the next 3 sts. 2sc in next st. Ch3. *2sc in next st. Sc in each of the next 3 sts. 2sc in next st. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off color 1.
RND 3: Join color 2 to same st as slst. Ch4. (Tr in each of the next 6 sc. 5tr in next ch3 sp.) *Tr in next sc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4.
RND 4: Ch1. (Sc in each of the next 8 tr. 2sc, ch2, 2sc in next tr. Sc in each of the next 2 tr.) *Sc in next tr. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off color 2.
RND 5: Join color 1 to same st as slst. Ch3. (Dc in each of the next 10 sc. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 4 sc.) *Dc in next sc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
