Centurys End Granny Square

Centurys End Granny Square

This square is slightly bigger than the squares I usually make but you can decrease the size by using a smaller hook. I know technically that the year 2000 is the actual last year of the 20th century but since this is the last year of the century that begins with a 1 and this is he last square I am designing this year.

Paper Templates in Quilting
To make it easier to use small paper templates in making quilt blocks, put double stick tape on the back side of the template and stick it onto the fabric and use your ruler and rotary cutter to cut your quilt block piece following the lines of the template.
