Pearl Beaded Earrings
Designed By Julie A. Bolduc
These earrings were designed with a casual summer wedding in mind. Of course you can make them for any time and with any color thread but since June is the month for weddings, I thought it would be most appropriate to make them all white.
Materials Needed
Small amount white size 10 crochet cotton. Southmaid was used in the example.
24 pearl beads 4mm in size.
Size 8 steel crochet hook Boye was used.
Fish Hook Ear wires.
Tapestry Needle
Thread Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc=1"
Finished Size: ¾"x1¼" or 22mmx30mm

Special Stitch Used (bddc) Beaded Dc.
Work as for a double crochet but before pulling your loop through the last two loops on hook, pull up a bead then draw your loop through the last two loops on hook.
Make 2
String on all beads but use only 12 beads per earring.
Instructions
RND 1: Make a starting slip knot as you normally would for beginning any crochet project but do not chain anything. Instead, bring up 6 beads then ch1 to form a ring with the beads. You will be working between the beads in the ring for the next round.
RND 2: Ch3. Bddc dc in same place in ring. Work the following in each space between each bead around. Dc, bddc, dc. When you get back to the beginning, join w/slst to top of ch3.
Hanger
Slst to the bddc, ch5, slst in same st. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
