This crocheted Lazy Susan Mat uses worsted weight acrylic yarn but you can use any cotton yarn you like. You can even make each section a different color for a striking effect. This is a good pattern for using up scraps of yarn.

Materials Needed
WW acrylic yarn in 2 colors, orange & yellow were used in the example.*
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 10.25" in diameter
Skill Level: Intermediate

Special Stitches Used:
Starting Bobble stbl.Ch2, yo, insert hook in place indicated. Draw up a lp, draw through 2 lps on hook. yo insert hook in same place, draw up a lp, draw through all 3 lps on hook.
Bobble, blYo, insert hook in stitch indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook, *yo, insert hook in same stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yo, draw through 2lps on hook rep from * until you have 4 lps on hook. Yo and pull through all 4 lps on hook.
Picot: Ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook.

Instructions
RND 1: w/orange. Ch5. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Stbl in ring. Ch3. *Bl in ring, ch3, 7 times. (8ch3sps) Join w/slst to top of starting bobble. Fasten off orange.

RND 2: Join yellow in any ch3 sp. Ch3, 3 dc in same sp. Ch1. *4dc in next ch3 sp. Ch1. Repeat from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch5. Sk 2 sts. Sc in next dc. Ch2. *Sc in next dc. Ch4. Sk 2 dc. Sc in next dc. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch5.

RND 4: Join orange in any ch2 sp. Sc in same sp. (Ch1. Bl, ch3, bl, ch3, bl in next ch4 sp. Ch1.) *Sc in next ch2 sp. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off orange.

RND 5: Join yellow in the next ch2 sp after joining last RND. Ch3, 3dc in same sp. Ch1. *4dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 6: Repeat RND 3.
RND 7: Repeat RND 4.

RND 8: Join yellow in any ch2 sp. Ch3, 3dc in sp. 4dc in each ch2 sp around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off yellow.

RND 9: Join orange in same st as slst. Sc in same st. Sc in each of the next 3 dc. Picot. * Sc in each of the next 4 dc. Picot. Repeat from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

*I used scraps I had in my stash. The yellow is Red Heart Super Saver in pale yellow and the orange is an old skein I had kicking around. It is more of a pumpkin color.

Safe Large Paint Brushes
If a painting job is not finished and you want to keep the brushes from drying, out store the wet cleaned brushes, in a bucket of water which is tightly covered if working with latex or acrylic paint. Do not do this when painting with oil based paints.
