New Paper Bead Rulers!

Notebook Cover

Notebook Cover Designed By Julie A. Bolduc

This notebook cover is meant for the 1 subject notebooks which are 9.5x6in/24.1 x 15.2cm in size. I use these notebooks to write all of my crochet designs in before they are typed up on the computer. Notice the holes on the inside front flap. Those are to hold your pen, and crochet hooks. It took me about 8 hours to complete this project, including writing the instructions.

Finishing Front and Back Panel Assembly

Row 1: Whip stitch front and back panels together with wrong sides facing each other. Place the whole piece down in front of you on your lap or work surface. So that the right side is facing you. It does not matter at this point which is top and bottom. Pick up the top right corner and join amethyst. Work 50 sc evenly spaced across to the other corner. Ch2, turn.

ROW 2: Work 1 hdc in each sc across. Fasten off and repeat with opposite side. Weave ends into back of work.

Final Assembly: Join the left inside flap (the one with the holes) to the cover with front and back panel facing you & the flap away from you. Join white yarn to the corner going through all lps. Ch1. Work 1 sc in each st to the next corner. Work 3 sc in the corner. [Work 1 sc in each of the next 19 sts. Work 1 sc in each of the next 8 sts through just the front/back panel.) Then join the other inside flap in the same way working through both layers. Work 3sc in next corner. Work 1 sc in each st to the next corner. Then repeat bet () once then work through both layers to the next corner. Work 2sc in the same corner where you started from. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Final Note: Use the holes for storing hooks and pens. There is also enough room to slip a needle through some of the stitches to keep it handy.
