This little snowflake is super fast and easy to make. It is just the right size for a small table top tree. Or you can use it as a package topper.
Materials Needed
Small amount size 10 crochet cotton white.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle
Thread Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10 sc=1"
Finished Size: 2½"" diam
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
RND 1: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch6. *Dc in next ch. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch6.
RND 2: Ch5. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch2. *Dc in next dc. Ch2. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.
RND 3: Ch8. *Sc in next dc. Ch7. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 1st ch of ch8.RND 4: Ch1. Work the following in the next ch7 sp. (3sc, ch4, slst in 4th ch from hk, ch5, slst in 5th ch from hook, ch4, slst in 4th ch from hook, 3sc.) *Sc in next sc. Rep bet () in the next ch7 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off, weave ends into back of work. Stiffen with your favorite stiffener. Be sure to leave a large enough hole in one of the ch5 loops for attaching the ornament hanger.

Crafting JournalHave you ever considered keeping a journal of all the major projects you make?? You could take pictures of the item, then put them into a photo album with the information about the item. The information to write down would be, the name of the pattern, where the pattern came from, the list of materials used in the project, how long it took to make, the date you started the project and when you finised it, and then who you gave it to and when. And the special occasion as to why it was given. If you keep all this information, then future generations will have a better sense of who you were. Keep it with the family geaneology information. I may start to do this myself for significant projects that I make and give.
