Attaching Star to Ring:
This is the rnd where you will be attaching the star to the ring. To do this, put the ring in front of the ch and bring the ch to the front. You will have to swing the star around the ring so the ring is in front of the star with each point so that you can do this with each one. Then when you are done with all 5 points, you will need to space the ch8 lps evenly around the ring.
RND 3: Slst to the first ch3 sp. Work the following in the first ch 3 sp. Ch4, dc, ch1, dc, ch8, bring ch8 over the ring and slst to the 8th ch from hook. Then, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc in same ch3 sp. Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3. Work the fol in the next ch3 point sp. (dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch8, swing around & brass ring, slst to 8th ch from hook. Dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc in same sp. Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3. Rep from * around, join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4. Weave all ends into work.
