Citrus Stitch Snowflake Ornament

This ornament is made with worsted weight yarn and a brass ring. It uses the Citrus Stitch which you can find in the Stitches section of the Reference area of this site.
Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white
3" diam brass ring
Size G/6 aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Ornament Hanger
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 3" diam
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
RND 1: Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch6, pull up a lp in 2nd ch and in each of the next 3 chs from hook. Yo, draw through all lps on hook. Ch3. *Sc in next ch of ring. Ch5. Pull up a lp in 2nd ch and in each of the next 3 chs form hook. Yo, draw through all lps on hook. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch6. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Set aside.
RND 2: Join yarn to brass ring. *Work 7 sc in ring. Pick up snowflake, insert hook in lp at very tip of any point of snowflake, then insert hook through ring, pull up a lp back through snowflake, then finish the sc on ring. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Attach hanger to any point on ring where a point of the snowflake is.
