Round Rose Pillow

This pillow is fast and easy to make. The 2 pieces will be very wavy before they are stitched together and stuffed so don't be surprised when this happens.

Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in dark green.
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in light pink.
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in medium pink.
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white.
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in light blue
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in medium blue.
Size H/8 aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Polyester Fiberfill for stuffing pillow.

Instructions
RND 1 Back: Front. With green. Ch5. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. 12 sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 2: Ch3. Working in back lps only for this round. 2dc in same st as slst. Ch2. Sk next sc. *3dc in next sc. Ch2. Sk next sc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch3. Yo, insert hook in next dc, yo pull up a lp, yo pull through 2 lps on hook, twice. Yo, pull through all lps on hook. Beg cluster made. Ch6. *Yo, insert hook in next dc, yo pull up a lp, yo pull through 2 lps on hook 3 times. Yo, pull through all 4 lps on hook. Ch6. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of beg cluster. Fasten off green

RND 4: Join white in same st as slst. Ch1. (Work 5dc in ch2 sp of RND 2 behind the ch6 sp of RND 3.) *Sc in top of next cluster. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 5: Ch 5, dc in same st as slst. (Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Dc, ch2, dc in next dc. Dc in each of the next 2dc.) *Dc, ch2, dc in next sc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 6: Ch3. (Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 3dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 7: Ch3. Dc in next dc. (Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 4dc.) *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 8: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. (Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 5dc.) *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off white.

RND 9: Join light blue in same st as slst. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. (2dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 6 dc.) *Dc in each of the next 4 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off light blue.

RND 1 Flower: Inner Petals: Join light pink in any front lp of RND 1. (Ch5, slst in 5th ch from hook. Ch1. Slst in same front lp as last st.) *Slst in next front lp. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch5. Fasten off light pink.

RND 2 Flower: Join medium pink in back lp of skipped sc on RND 1. Ch4. *Sc in next skipped back lp. Ch4. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch4.

RND 3 Flower: Ch1. 5dc in next ch4 sp. *Sc in next sc. 5dc in next ch4 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off medium pink. Weave all ends of front of pillow into back of work. Set aside front of pillow.

RND 1 Back of pillow: With light blue. Ch5. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. 12 sc in ring. Join w/slst first sc.

RND 2: Ch3, 2dc in same st as slst. Ch1. Sk 1 st. *3dc in next st. Ch1. Sk 1 st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2dc. (3dc in next ch1 sp.) *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Ch3. (Dc, ch2, dc in next dc. Dc in next dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 5: Ch3. (Dc in next dc. Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 2 dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 6: Ch3. (Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 3 dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 7: Ch3. (Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Dc, ch2, dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 4 dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 8: Ch3. (Dc in each of the next 4 dc. 2Dc in next ch2 sp. Dc in each of the next 5 dc.) *Dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

Finishing Assembly: Place both front and back of pillow together with wrong sides facing each other. Line them up so the 2dc that are in a ch2 sp are lined up with each other. Join Medium blue in any stitch through both layers. Treat both layers as 1 stitch. Work 1 sc in each st around but before closing the last 12 or 14 stitches, stuff the pillow then continue to close. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Fluff as needed to get the shape you want.
