Striking Scrunchie

This scrunchie is striking with the way the 2 colors work together. Imagine making this with any 2 very contrasting colors! Don't limit yourself to just black and white.
Materials Needed:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white
Worsted Weight acrylic yarn in black
Large hair elastic
Size H/8 aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 4"diam
Skill Level: Beginner
RND 1: With white, tie yarn onto elastic. Sc. Ch4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 2 chs. Ch3. *Sc in elastic. Ch4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 2 chs. Ch3. Rep from * 20 times more. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off White.
RND 2: Join black in same st as slst. Ch4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 2 chs. Ch3. *Sc in next sc that is actually on the elastic on round 1. Ch4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 2 chs. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to where you joined the black to the white. Fasten off, weave ends into work.
