Chenille Scrunchie

This velvety scrunchie is elegant enough to wear with an evening outfit. Or fun enough to wear with bluejeans and a t-shirt.

Materials Needed
Small amount black Chenille yarn. WW Chenille Sensations Black was used in the example.
Size G aluminum crochet hook
1 large hair elastic. (Goody Brand)
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 6mm
Gauge: 4sc=1"
Finished Size: 3½"
Skill Level: Easy

Instructions
Tie chenille onto elastic.

RND 1: Ch10. *Sc in ring. Ch10 Rep from * 27 more times. Join w/slst to first ch of ch10.

RND 2: Slst into the first 3 chs. *Sc, ch3, sc, ch5, sc, ch3,sc in ch10 lp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc in first ch3 lp. Fasten off. Weave ends into work.

Easy Does It Gluing
If you use glue in your projects and you need just to place a tiny dab. Use a scrap piece of paper and put a dab of glue on the paper. Then use a toothpick to apply the glue by dipping it in the glue on the paper. That way you will get better control of how much you are actually applying.
