Chenille Scrunchie

This velvety scrunchie is elegant enough to wear with an evening outfit. Or fun enough to wear with bluejeans and a t-shirt.
Materials Needed
Small amount black Chenille yarn. WW Chenille Sensations Black was used in the example.
Size G aluminum crochet hook
1 large hair elastic. (Goody Brand)
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 6mm
Gauge: 4sc=1"
Finished Size: 3½"
Skill Level: Easy
Tie chenille onto elastic.
RND 1: Ch10. *Sc in ring. Ch10 Rep from * 27 more times. Join w/slst to first ch of ch10.
RND 2: Slst into the first 3 chs. *Sc, ch3, sc, ch5, sc, ch3,sc in ch10 lp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc in first ch3 lp. Fasten off. Weave ends into work.

Easy Does It GluingIf you use glue in your projects and you need just to place a tiny dab. Use a scrap piece of paper and put a dab of glue on the paper. Then use a toothpick to apply the glue by dipping it in the glue on the paper. That way you will get better control of how much you are actually applying.
