Gabrielle's Spring Gown
Designed By Julie A. BolducThis gown and hat is made up of mainly V-sts and can be completed in a day. It is a good beginner project especially since I have not made very many doll patterns like this. This pattern starts at the neck and works down in one piece all the way to the bottom but then the over skirt is worked onto the dress after the main part of the dress is complete

FinishingWeave the ribbon through row 7 so that it ties in the back. You may need to fold it up to make it lay flat. Sew the snap to the collar.
Put the dress on the doll, snap the snap and tie the bow on the back. Put her hat on and tie the ties into a bow under her chin. This dress is removable so that it can be cleaned and so you can change her outfits through the seasons in the year.
