This is the 12th quilt block tutorial in a series on how to make quilt blocks using the FrankenQuilt Method formerly the Quilt as You Piece Method. This quilt block can be completely made in the Quilt as you Piece method and as a foundation pieced block.

Random Quick Tip!

Wrapping Doilies
If you are going to give a doily as a gift and it is the same diameter as a paper towel roll is long, use the paper towel core to put the doily in. Roll the doily up and tuck into the core. Wrap like a long piece of candy. I have done this and it looked really festive. You may want to use a piece of tissue paper to lay the doily on first before rolling it up.
