Basic Hero25 Tube Layout

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

Made For: Sheetworks Studio

This template creates a basic strip‑sheet with paper bead strips arranged on top of a single full‑sheet background. The background can be customized with any image, pattern, or solid color, and each strip can also be decorated individually. This layout supports all strip shapes and lengths while keeping the background and strip styling fully flexible.

The Hero Section is the final part of the strip that becomes the outside of the bead. It's the portion that shows the main color, pattern, or feature once the bead is fully rolled. When you roll the strip, the Hero Section wraps last, creating the visible surface of the bead. Use this section to highlight the strongest part of the design - the part you want to be seen.

Random Quick Tip!

What to do With Snowflakes
Snowflakes and other thread motifs make wonderful appliques for shirts, tablecoths, pillows, quilts, napkins and more! This takes time but all you need to do is position the motif where you want it to be and with matching sewing thread, tack them down using very small stitches about 1/4" apart. There is another way of doing this as well and that is using Ok to Wash it glue from Aleene's. Just brush the glue on the back side of the motif and position it where you want it to be. When it is dry, just tack it down around the outer edges for added security. Imagine a bunch of white snowflakes appliqued to a sky blue tablecoth!
